Normoftal
Khavinson natural peptide complex targeting eye and retinal tissue — studied for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and visual acuity support.
🔬 Mechanism of Action
Normoftal is a Khavinson Cytomax derived from ocular tissue, containing retinal and lens-specific peptides that regulate gene expression in photoreceptors, retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), and crystallin-producing lens epithelial cells.
Normoftal modulates: (1) rhodopsin and cone opsin expression for maintained visual sensitivity, (2) RPE65 — the isomerohydrolase enzyme essential for the visual cycle (retinoid recycling), (3) PEDF (pigment epithelium-derived factor) production for neuroprotective and anti-angiogenic effects, and (4) crystallin chaperone proteins that prevent lens protein aggregation (cataract formation).
In Khavinson ophthalmic protocols, Normoftal is used for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, early cataract prevention, and general visual health maintenance.

💉 Dosing Protocol
| Typical Dose | 1-2 capsules/day |
| Frequency | 1-2× daily for 10-30 day cycles |
| Half-Life | ~30 minutes (estimated) |
⚠️Safety & Considerations
Standard oral Cytomax capsule protocol. Often combined with Visoluten (another ocular Cytomax) for comprehensive eye support.
⚡Interactions & Contraindications
Standard Cytomax capsule protocol.
🔗Synergies & Common Stacks
Normoftal + Visoluten = comprehensive ocular bioregulator support from two different eye tissue Cytomax extracts.
