- Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide 25 mg), OASIS 4: average weight change of -13.6% vs -2.2% with placebo at 64 weeks in adults with overweight or obesity without diabetes (Wharton et al., NEJM 2025). Gastrointestinal side effects: 74.0% vs 42.2%.
- Foundayo (orforglipron), ATTAIN-1: average weight change at 72 weeks of -7.5%, -8.4% and -11.2% on the three doses studied vs -2.1% with placebo in 3,127 adults with obesity without diabetes (Wharton et al., NEJM 2025).
- These were separate trials with different populations, lengths and dose labels, so they cannot be compared head to head. Individual results vary.
